The homes
Henderson homes span eight decades
Henderson began in the 1940s as housing for the Basic Magnesium plant. Green Valley, Henderson's first master-planned community, opened in 1978, followed by Green Valley South around 1985, Green Valley Ranch in 1994 and Anthem in 1998. So a Henderson kitchen might sit in a 1980s plan with a closed-off galley or in a newer open great room. We start by reading what your home's era gives you, then design from there.

What we plan for
Very hard water
The City of Henderson lists its water at about 18 grains per gallon, which it calls very hard. Mineral spots show up fast on dark faucets, clear glass and polished stone. We lean toward finishes and surfaces that hide water marks, and we plan space for a softener or filter if you want one, so your contractor knows where it goes.
Design review in newer neighborhoods
Many Henderson master-planned communities have design review for exterior changes. Inspirada's guidelines, for example, require written approval for changes visible from outside, and limit window frame colors. Interior kitchen and bath work is usually outside that scope, but check with your HOA before planning anything that changes windows, doors or the exterior.
Planning for the long stay
Anthem includes Sun City Anthem, a community designed for older residents. If you plan to stay in your home for many years, we can design with that in mind: a curbless shower, grab-bar blocking, seating at the vanity, and drawers instead of low cabinets. It costs little to plan now and is harder to add later.

Do you build or remodel kitchens in Henderson?
No. We are a design studio and do not perform construction. We create the layout, selections, lighting plan and 3D renderings, and your own licensed contractor prices and builds it. You can check any contractor's license with the Nevada State Contractors Board at nscb.nv.gov.
Can you come to my home in Henderson?
Yes. The $450 design consultation is 90 minutes, at your home or at our Las Vegas studio on South Valley View Boulevard, by appointment. We LiDAR scan the space, talk through how you want the space to feel, and the fee is credited toward your design project.
My Green Valley kitchen feels closed in. Can you open it up?
We can study it. We look at which walls might come out, where plumbing and venting run, and what the layout gains. Your contractor and, where needed, an engineer confirm what is structural. We then show the options in 3D so you can compare them before anything is built.
