A golf and retirement town on the Virgin River
Mesquite sits in the Virgin River valley on Interstate 15, near the Arizona line, about 85 miles northeast of Las Vegas. Most of its housing is recent: 1990s and 2000s single-story stucco homes with tile roofs in golf communities, and Sun City Mesquite, an active adult community that opened in the late 2000s. How we work with you remotely
We design, we do not build, so distance changes very little. Homeowners in Mesquite get the same layouts, selections and 3D renderings as our Las Vegas clients, delivered as files your local contractor can price.

Before the call we send a 5-minute iPhone LiDAR guide (Polycam or a free scanner app), you scan your space, and we review the scan live on the call while we talk about how you want the room to feel, your style and your budget. You leave with an accurate scan of your space and a written direction, whatever you decide, and the fee is credited toward your design project.
Step 2
Measuring, made simple
We send you a step-by-step measuring guide and photo checklist, or we coordinate a local measurer to record the room for you. Either way, we design from real dimensions.
Step 3
3D concepts on the normal timeline
You see the layout, materials and lighting in 3D renderings on the same timeline as our Las Vegas clients, and we refine them together over video until the room feels right.
Step 4
Plans your local contractor can price
You receive plans, elevations, selections and a material list. Your own licensed contractor prices and builds it. We stay available to answer their questions during construction.

What we plan for
Hotter summers than Las Vegas
Mesquite sits lower than Las Vegas and runs a little hotter in summer. We choose materials that hold their color under strong sun, plan window coverings for west-facing glass, and use light, low-sheen surfaces so the room stays calm at midday. Layered, dimmable lighting brings warmth back at night.
Community design review
Most Mesquite neighborhoods are governed by associations with architectural rules for anything visible from outside. Interior kitchen and bath work is usually outside that scope, but a new window, a wider patio door or a relocated vent is not. Check with your HOA before planning any exterior change, and we flag those items in the package.
Planning for the long stay
Many Mesquite homeowners plan to stay for years. We design with that in mind: a curbless shower with a bench, grab-bar blocking hidden in the walls, drawers instead of low cabinets, a comfortable oven height and even task lighting. Planned now, these look like good design, not accommodations.

Do you build or remodel in Mesquite?
No. We are a design studio and do not perform construction. We create the layout, selections, lighting plan and 3D renderings, and your own licensed contractor prices and builds it. You can check any contractor's license with the Nevada State Contractors Board at nscb.nv.gov.

We are only in Mesquite part of the year. Does that work?
Yes, and it often helps. Design happens while you are away, by video and shared files, and construction can be scheduled for the months you are elsewhere. Your contractor and you set that schedule; our package gives them everything they need to price and build it.
Mesquite is about 85 miles from our Las Vegas studio, roughly 90 minutes on Interstate 15, so most of our work with Mesquite homeowners happens by video and shared files.
